informel frames
This series is named after the pictorial movement from the 1943–1950s, that includes all the abstract and gestural tendencies developed in France and the rest of Europe: Informalism or Art Informel. The French art critic Michel Tapié coined the term "art autre" in the homonymous book published in 1952 in relation to non-geometric abstract art.
